Peter Roberts is a serial leisure entreprenuer, having (co)founded, grown and exited Lagdale Group Plc (sold to S&N), Luminar Leisure (floated), Countryside Inns (sold to Graphite Capital), Tulip Inn and Golden Tulip (sold to Whitbread), and most recently Pure Gym (sold to Leonard Green & Partners).
He has won numberous awards along the way, including EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015, recognising the success of Pure Gym (now UK’s largest gym operator with over 185 sites and 1m members).
Peter sits on several Boards and Entrepreneur Panels as well as being an active angel investor.
